Maurice is
currently involved and has been for a
few years now, writing and recording his
own song material, he has 2 CDs to his
credit,
he has recently completed an
instrumental CD ( Deep In The Heart Of
The City ) which bares some resemblance
to the Wishbone Ash style of of guitar
work and sound, although Maurice insists
this was never intentional, the other CD
entitled' ( Here Comes
The Rain ) was recorded using a female
vocalist, and consists of 4 vocal

Meanwhile as the quest goes on to find
new musicians for Wishblowin' Ash, I have been
dedicating time to my own songs, "at last I say"
well at least my guitars and keyboard wont quit
on me, and who knows maybe "I" could lay down
the other parts myself to the Wishbone music,
and go out with backing tracks, "I ASK
MYSELF, HAS THE WORLD REALLY COME TO THIS" well
maybe it has, sometimes the only person you can
rely on when it comes to music is YOURSELF.
I
have just ordered a Boss AD8 Acoustic Guitar
Processor, I have been told its a great piece of
equipment for getting a studio mic acoustic
sound , the BOSS
AD-8 Acoustic Guitar Processor uses COSM®
modelling technology to transform the piezo
pickup sound of an ordinary acoustic into six of
the world's most sought-after acoustic guitars.
My current project will be
based around a more acoustic come electric
guitar sound, with keyboards in the background
and vocals of course, due to the shortage of
singers in this part of the world, (not to
mention - bass players / guitar players e.t.c.)
I will be introducing the T.C.Voicelive to my
project, this will cover any range of vocal
harmonies I require, "LET YOU INTO A SECRET" I
used it at ASHCON 2006 as I was the only band
member who could sing, but really its a
fantastic tool.

I have just returned from holiday in
Majorca and while I was lying on the
beach I decided to invest more money
into my recording studio, I feel things
on that side have been neglected
somewhat, so next on my shopping list is
a Roland Fantom X-7 Workstation, I have
some new exciting material which I have
been working on and intend producing a
high quality production CD, then I will
start pushing my music in as many
directions as possible,
I
have also just recently taken up playing the
Banjo and I am well satisfied with my progress,
I also plan to take up the Mandolin after
Christmas, the Banjo especially has improved my
finger technique all-round which helps in all
aspects of finger picking although the Banjo is
a three finger technique.
